Your store should be running on Magento Community Edition version 2.0.0 and more.
At Back-End, we created a Gift Registry tab which allows admin to set and manage everything related to Gift Registry in an easy way.
The following is great features that our gift registry extension brings for admin.
Create and manage event type
Firstly, admin will need to create the event type allowing customers to choose when they want to create a wish gift list such as wedding, birthday and so forth.
To create a new event, click on Add Event Type button.
Then, the Add Event Type screen will be shown:
In order to add more than 4 types, you have to contact us via:
- Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Support portal: http://servicedesk.izysync.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/9
Our developers will customize that type for you.
Please click on Save Event Type button to completely create a new event type and contact to to producer to customize it..
View the list of created registries
Admin can view all lists created by customers by clicking on Manager Gift Registry. Then, the Manage Gift Registry screen will be shown.
Admin click on View button to view:
Would love: The quantity of items that customer wishes to receive.
Purchased: The quantity of items that they were received.
It can be easy and convenient for admin to manage order related to Gift Registry by clicking on Manage Oder. The Manager Order will be shown.
Setting email templates:
Admin can set email template to consist of:
+ Email Form: Email form which is sent to customers who create the gift registry when a item is bought.
+ Email Template Share Gift Registry: Email form which is sent to people that customers want to receive a gift from them into the list gift registry.
Create gift registries
Firstly, customers need to have their account. Then, they can easily create their new gift registry by clicking on Gift Registry > Baby Gift/ Christmas Gift/ Birthday Gift/Wedding Gift
The New Registry screen will be shown and click Get Started to create a new registry :
Customer can fill information about gift
General information that customers need to enter consist of:
- Title: Customers will enter the title of their event that they wish to display.
- Date: Time to happen the event.
- Location: The location that event happened.
- Description: Customer can write some description about their event. This description will be displayed at their Gift Registry site.
- Privacy mode: There are 2 options to select:
+ Private: When customers select this option, their friends must enter a created password to see the event.
+ Public: When customers select this option, their friends will be comfortable to view without entering a password.
Show in search result: If customer click on this box, their event will be found when other customers use search gift registry function.
Shipping address information
Please click on Save button to completely create a Gift Registry.
Customer can cancel their Gift Registry by clicking Delete button and create other gift registry.
- Add items for Gift Registry
When customers created a new GIft Registry, they can easily to add items for their Gift Registry.
To add item for the Gift Registry, customer needs click on the product that they want. Then, the details about the product selected will be shown. Customer only needs click on ADD TO GIFT REGISTRY,
this product will be added on their Gift Registry intermediately.
Note: If the product that the customer wants to select is a configurable product, they need to choose some fields (Size, Colour,...) related their product before adding your Gift Registry.
When a customer added items into their list gift registry, they can back My Gift Registry tab to Update, Delete, Add Item.
+ Edit Infor: Customer can click this button if they want to change the account information.
+ Edit Items: Admin can manage and edit items which they added into their gift registry.
+ Delete Item: Admin can delete items that selected.
Would love: The quantity of items that a customer wishes to receive.
Purchased: The quantity of items purchased.
+ Shared: Customers can share information about the list gift registry through facebook, twitter, gmail and google plus. So their friend will receive gift registry list by attach link sent to personal email
or share via social network.
For example, we use gmail to share information with friends. Customers only fill their friend's email address and click Submit button.

Guests can easily buy a item by entering the item quantity they want to give. Then click on Add To Cart button to check out:
At Shipping Address screen , please click on Shipping to your friend button to make sure the item sent to right address.
Every workflow still continues until buying successfully.
Customer want to review history of gift registry by clicking My account-> My Gift Registry:
- When a bug fix or new feature is released, we will provide you with the module's new package.
